Title:   Rejustor based calibration for precision Instrumentation
Abstract:   In many RF based designs the RF input signals a “RSSI” output that is linear in dB generally, but will always correspond to the strength of the signal detected. However, this output must almost always not only be characterized over its useful range, but must also be calibrated to become useful as an absolute indicator of true signal strength. Every maker of these types of RFICs only loosely characterizes this output since it is too difficult to do otherwise. With the use of Rejustors in a gain block this output the calibration of this output can be significantly simplified saving valuable calibration time and equipment.
