Title:   Precision OpAmp Heater Circuit using a Platinum Thermocouple with Rejustors.
Abstract:   There are requirements in Medical Diagnostic units that require the temperature of certain reagents to be maintained within 0.1 deg C in order to meet stated accuracies of that device. Normally a precision platinum thermocouple is used that has a value of 100 ohms at 0 Deg C. The thermocouple located inside a heater block. The fluid of interest is held in the heater block until it comes up to temperature. A platinum thermocouple's rise in resistance with temperature is very linear within its operating range. Normally a differential amplifier is used with one input coming from the thermocouple and the other input is referenced to a precision resistor.
