Abstract: |
A low cost precision resistance substitution box is described. This instrument can be set by the user to provide resistances in the range of zero Ohms to 99.9 KOhm in 100 Ohm increments.
The laboratory grade instrument uses precision resistive networks that are switched to provide the user with the desired resistance selected by resistor decade switches.
The Rejustor-based precision resistance substitution box uses rejustors to create switched 1R/2R resistive networks.
Resistance substitution boxes are used to provide precise and accurate resistances in many design, manufacturing and test environments.
